  • During dry needling, it is common for the muscle to twitch. This indicates that the muscle is in a shortened position and has released. Having a muscle twitch during dry needling is a sign of (muscular pain) myofascial pain caused by a shortened muscle (trigger point), and it is also a positive sign that dry needling treatment will be effective.
